So, the real question is: What is it about coffee and coffee shops that I love? Number one on my list is a cup of coffee with a really good book is the best companions I'll ever have in my entire life and what makes it even more than the best (if there's a word for it) is when you are having your cup of coffee, reading the best part of the book in a very cozy space. Starbucks and The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf are actually my utopias.
A week ago, my childhood friend asked me if I've ever been to "Beantage" before, and I said "No" and that I haven't heard about it before. Then she told me everything she knew about it and that it is a coffee shop serving Fererro Frappe (which is what she was very eager to try) and where it is located (Emilio Aguinaldo Highway near Patindig Araw, beside Banahaw and Philhealth.) and since every Sunday we have Devotional Meetings in the morning and JY and Children's Classes in the afternoon, I asked her to bring me to that place after our Sunday activity on the 6th of July. So we went there.
It was not as big as I expected but as I enter the Cafe, I was like "Whoa!" I love the ambiance! I love the wooden chairs and the sofa, I love the quotes written on the wall. I love the mirror where people can write something or anything they wanted to write. I love the fact that it was not as big as I expected it to be for I am a sucker for small coffee/tea shops.
I decided to order Java Mocha Frappe and my friend ordered Ferrero Frappe (both not written on the menu above.) I wanted to try their Pasta or Salad or Sandwich too but I was already full before we went there so I just settled for the coffee (I am certain this is not the last time I would visit this cafe). While waiting for our orders to be served, I came up to a decision that I am going to blog this little discovery we had so I took photos from every corner of the Cafe. Then I get to talk to the owners of the Cafe which is Ate Abi and Kuya Drew. They were very friendly and for me that is a plus factor to attract their customers to come back to their store/shop.
Of course, how would we forget to take pictures of our orders before taking a sip from it?
Also, Ate Abi took photo of us to post on IG (Follow @beantagecafe on instagram) before we drifted away to our own crazy chats while drinking the one of the best coffee in town! This is really something to visit if ever you came to visit the South. I love the taste of caffeine it has, just enough to satisfy my love for coffee. I even took a sip from my friend's order which is the Ferrero Frappe and really, the title "best-seller" suits it's taste. The price is very reasonable, and from the way it was served, it is really unique and this is the first time I've ever drank a coffee in a jar!
Of course, after taking photos of our coffee, why would we forget to take photos of us with their logo?
First, I love the shop as it is. Second, I love it that they are trying to interact with their customers (same reason I love Starbucks). Third, I love their menu. Fourth, I love how the way they serve the coffee in the jar. And Fifth? I LOVE the receipt. (It's for you to discover why.)
